Break the Cycle of Poverty
Our greatest priority is economic security. We foster this through the business incubation program. The farming, financial, human rights, and technology curriculums help the girls explore their personal interests in and out of the classroom. After-school activities offer the perfect opportunity for students to improve their emotional intelligence.
Advantages
Business Incubation Program
When students complete the accelerated education program, they enter the 24-month business incubation program. In this program, they develop a business plan and learn how to launch, manage, and grow their potential business.
Collaborative Efforts
We are a resource for our girls in pursuing self-employment and entrepreneurship. Each student gains greater self-reliance, creativity, and entrepreneurship. Much of our emphasis is placed on collaboration and being an active participant in the community. It is crucial that our girls be socially aware and responsible.
Program Pathways
Each student chooses between our two business incubation programs. The first is the DIY Business Option, where students originate the idea that they want to pursue. They work in groups to create their own business. In the second, Ready-Made Business Option, students can choose to follow one of several already outlined paths that correspond to their own aspirations.
Educational Resources
The business incubation program gives our girls the connections they need to pursue a variety of careers and ventures. They will have ready access to the internet, mentors, training, and experts to help them. We also help orient them with data about market research, marketing, accounting, financial planning, capital, capital-in-kind networks, project management, and assets.
